My favorite pasalubong (souvenir) from Bais is the hayub. It is dried danggit: very common fish from the waters of Bais. I'm sure other stalls also sell dangit so if you have time, try to look around the market too.
I also try to eat at local markets. Aside from supporting the local economy, you also get a snapshot of the local culture: what they eat, how they shop, etc.
